NOW OPEN!!!
Murphy Road Baptist Church opened the doors to its new worship center and education building for our first service on Sunday, August 8, 2004 to a capacity congregation (and then some!)
The "North Building," features a new 350+ seat sanctuary, office space, and more than 20 additional adult and child classrooms on two floors, plus a new nursery facility.
Please take the opportunity to come see it for yourself!

5/13/03 - No one would have expected that it would take six months after our groundbreaking ceremonies to actually break ground! But, it has finally happened! Earth movers began initial grading of the northern/western portions of the lot for the building construction.
Groundbreaking festivities were held on Sunday, November 17, 2002.

4/22/02: The City of Murphy P&Z Commission granted MRBC FINAL approval of the site plans and site plats!
Next steps:
The City Council will see our plans for approval on May 6th, 2002, at 7:30pm.
The City of Murphy Planning & Zoning Commission granted MRBC Preliminary approval of the site plan on March 25th.
Next Steps: A special city P&Z Commission meeting is being held on April 8 in consideration of FINAL plat/site plan approval. Pending these approvals, the City Council will be reviewing our plans on April 15th. Please continue to pray for MRBC as we continue through these challenges.
