| MURPHY, TX- Murphy Road Baptist Church hosted the MRBC AWANA Grand Prix on April 29, 2001. Entrants included pine race cars and Matchbox cars raced by 28 children ranging in age from three years to the sixth grade.
Officiating the race were Murphy Mayor Roy Bentle, and former Murphy Councilman Tom Neman.
